The Most Popular Forums and Discussion Boards on The Internet

FTAENTER OUR OWN FORUM HEREFTA

As with other project modules, the objective of Most Popular Forums is to track the popularity ranking of known online discussion bulletin boards, commonly refered to as "forums". We also provide our own forum here as an example of what exactly are meant by them. In addition to providing a daily report on a forum's ranking, we also evaluate the forum software in use - providing a daily listing of the most popular forum software applications in use, along with extended information.

The process of acheiving this data involves the first step known as identification and resource building. This process involves a process used to identify those websites who's pages are primarily discussion board threads. In order to simplify and speed up that process, domain isolation begins by simply checking the most popular web directories to identify potential sites based upon their existing classification. Other domains are sought based on an evaluation of the domain name itself, which may include words like forum, board, bbs, discuss, and other similar terms.

After completing the previous step we move onto classification and popularity ranking. Each forum website domain is passed through our 'most popular websites' project model which compares and provides popularity rank data based on real world reports of usage statistics. The result is a report on all identified forum websites based on its estimated popularity rank, which can further be broken down into genre specific categories.

The report is therefore generated automatically based on program instructions that are then manually reviewed for scrutiny and error isolation, which is the current status of this project module. We expect public report generation of the full data set to go live here within days with category classifcations to come later this month.

Most Popular Forums is not only the project site for reporting on forum website popularity, it is alsoan integrated component of the 'Most Popular' SEO project founded by Robert Kluver, acting as the discussion mouthpeice for the entire project. Postings by the founder and members of the community can be found within our pages. The forum software used currently is phpBB and has been customized to act not only as a repository of data, but provides the core authentication and adminstration management system for the entire project. Everyone is invited to register and join the project's discussion and links to our forum are included within every project page for your conveneince.

About the Most Popular Project and Its Founder...

Most know Robert Kluver, (a.k.a. "Dishtester") when he made national news in March of 2010. The U.S. Marshalls raided Robert's home and seized and shut down the largest and most popular ring of satellite piracy related websites and forums in existence. Robert, his wife and 3 kids were immediately deprived of their only source of income and sued for 3.2 million dollars by Dish Network. Left to survive with the help of friends and family, Robert struggled to find work during the current national economic crisis. He took on whatever job he could and spent his spare time planning and preparing for a new project and community that would take what he learned and turn it into something even bigger and more spectacular than his efforts and success in FTA. The courts issued a permamnent injuction against Robert, who could no longer work on any satellite 'piracy' related domains, leaving a huge void in that industry. After a long delay however, the most popular FTA webmaster is back, but with a project that has nothing to do with piracy in any way, shape or form.

The Most Popular project which includes an array of new web resources, forums, seo tools and more gives Robert the opportunity to help other webmasters and forum owners to take advantage of his skills as well as learn from some of his biggest mistakes that landed him in legal trouble. The Most Popular Forums component has a similar theme of his old site, ftaforums.org, which is now owned by some domain parker and no longer has any real worth or content value. Most Popular Forums has very familiar community oriented characteristics as did its predecessor, and it is a community where the members and their success comes first above all else. The team leaders on Most Popular Forums (which include Robert as "GeneralDT" and several other well known former members and moderators) will work to build the Most Popular community on the Internet brick by brick based on the needs of its membership. Every day Robert and the other members of the community will work on pulling in even more resources and tools to benefit everyone using any part of the Most Popular community.

Visiting forum site moderators, website owners, webmasters and bloggers are welcome and encouraged to particpate in this new and exciting community project. Harnessing the power of SEO, participants will receive exclusive benefits that will help increase the exposure of their websites, forums or blogs. and get listed in our Exclusive Most Popular Database. In the very near future we also intend to make free forums and chatrooms available to anyone to use, which can quickly and easily be integrated with any other web site.
